Building Fund

In just few short years the Sephardic Congregation of Hewlett has emerged as a premiere Shul for Bukharian and other Sephardic Jews for families in Hewlett, NY. From its humble beginnings in a trailer in someone’s driveway, our community has become a spiritual center for children and adults alike. 

Our Shul currently offers daily religious programs to accommodate every level of Jewish spirituality. Our programs include, Sunday Kids Program, Learn How To Read Hebrew, Halacha Class based on the teachings of R’ Ovadiah Yosef, Teen Boys Program, and Understanding Prayers. On Shabbat we offer the following programs: Youth Group, Ladies Tehillim Class, Lessons from Perkei Avot and Lessons from the Navi. 

Baruch Hashem our shul is rapidly growing and in order to service more members, we have decided to purchase a building. After much deliberation and consideration, we are pleased to announce that we are currently in contract to purchase a piece of property located in the heart of Hewlett, NY. However, just like any other religious undertaking, we need your financial support. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT.
